Test Day Procedures
- Report to your assigned test center by the time (usually 8:00 a.m.) listed on your admission ticket (You will not need to have an admission ticket if you are trying to test standby.) Be sure you know how to get to your test center. You will not be admitted if you are late.
- Bring acceptable identification. You will not be admitted without it.
- Testing staff will check your ID and admission ticket, admit you to your test room, direct you to a seat, and provide test materials.
- Testing normally begins only after all examinees present at 8:00 a.m. are checked in.
- Do not engage in any prohibited behavior at the test center or you will be dismissed and your tests will not be scored.
- During the Mathematics Test, testing staff will check your calculator to ensure that:
- it is a permitted type;
- you use it only during the Mathematics Test;
- you use your backup calculator only if your primary calculator fails;
- you do not share your calculator; and
- you do not store test materials in your calculator's memory.
- If your calculator has characters one inch high or larger, or a raised display, testing staff may seat you where no other examinee can see your calculator.
- A break is scheduled after the first two tests. You will not be allowed to use cell phones or any electronic devices during the break, and you may not bring food or drinks back to the test room. (If you take the Writing Test, you will be allowed another brief break after the last multiple-choice test to relax and sharpen your pencils.) Students testing with standard time are normally dismissed at about 12:15 p.m. (or 1:00 p.m. if taking the ACT Plus Writing).
- If you do not complete all your tests
for any reason, tell your room supervisor or proctor-before you leave the test center-whether or not you want your test scored. If you do not inform the room supervisor of your decision, all tests attempted will be scored.

How to Register for the SAT <http://www.wikihow.com/Register-for-the-SAT>
The SAT Reasoning Test and Subject Tests are considered by most high school students to be quite arduous. The good news is that it is relatively easy to register for.
Steps
Plan out which SAT tests you plan to take during high school. Different colleges have different testing requirements, so be sure to learn the requirements of all the colleges you are interested in and schedule accordingly. For example, if the college requires a Reasoning Test and three Subject Tests, be sure to begin testing in the spring of your junior year.
Register. There are three different ways this can be done:
- Visit the SAT website, http://www.collegeboard.com/student/testing/sat/reg.html and click Register Now. Follow all the steps that are described to you. The process is very simple and clear.
- Register by mail. Go see your school Guidance Counselor or principal and abtain a copy of the application that you can fill out and send in. Fill it out as instructed and mail the application and check to the posted address. (Never send paper money in the mail.)
- Register by calling their phone number: 1-609-771-7600

What to bring to the test: Number 2 pencils, Scientific Calculator , Snack, and Sweater
- If you don't have a scientific calculator check one out from the library or ask your math teacher.
-No pencils, calculators, or any other supply will be provided to the students. At the time of the real test you must have your own.
-Parents please note that the planned finishing time for the test is not 100% accurate; it can be extended a little for multiple reasons.
-We highly recommended for the students taking the tutoring to sign up for the March 14, 2009 SAT test. Registration deadline for this test date is February 10. Students with free or reduce lunch must pass by Mrs. Macho's office to request a fee waiver.
